What Is The Aquinas Institute of Rochester?

The Aquinas Institute is the largest co-educational Catholic school in Monroe County. Since 1902, Aquinas has been educating students in the Basilian Fathers' tradition of teaching goodness, discipline and knowledge. Our central location draws students from across the region, and we have demonstrated our commitment to providing resources and facilities designed to prepare students for success in college and in life. Over the past five years, Aquinas Institute has invested nearly $20 million in providing a quality college preparatory environment for its students. The most advanced technology and a unique curriculum allows more than 98% of Aquinas students to continue their education beyond high school. To support the educational mission, recent capital improvements include a new fine arts center, outdoor sports complex, student union, field house and fitness education center, and a wing dedicated to our junior high school. We are currently adding a new, two-floor library, and have started to completely renovate our existing auditorium. These expansion projects provide outstanding facilities and academic opportunities for our junior high and high school programs. Tuition for 2009 is $5,250 for the junior high school and $7,500 for the high school. We have a generous financial aid package that gives families credit for number of dependents, dependents attending Catholic schools and siblings attending Aquinas.
