Third-party sensors can take advantage of Tellspec's cloud-based spectroscopy solution by availing themselves of Tellspec's extensive database or their powerful computational analysis. Tellspec also offers their own handheld spectrometers: the Enterprise Scanner, currently available, and one other sensor to be launched in 2019. Tellspec's Enterprise Scanner is based on near-infrared spectroscopy. This scanner targets the B2B market, and is ideal for rapid, nondestructive food quality and food fraud detection. Tellspec offers a suite of mobile applications, that work with their cloud solution and the Enterprise Scanner, targeted at the complete food and beverage supply chain and ranging from the determination of moisture levels, the optimisation of harvest time, the quality of fruits and vegetables to the identification of food contamination and food adulteration, and species identification.
