Team Tankers International ranks amongst the 10 largest chemical tanker operators in the world, based on number of vessels in its fleet and average vessel size measured in dwt. With an average fleet age of less than ten years, Team Tankers operates a young and modern chemical tanker fleet. Of the vessels operated by the Company, 32 are currently owned through subsidiaries in Bermuda and Singapore. 15 vessels are chartered in on time charter or bareboat contracts, most of them with purchase options. Team Tankers International is established based on the significant business platform that existed in Eitzen Chemical. The company history builds on a long and proud tradition in the shipping Industry which can be traced back to 1968 when the company was first incorporated.
