What Is Teacher Created Resources?
This educational publishing company was founded in 1982 by Mary Dupuy Smith and Rachelle Cracchiolo, two classroom teachers. The company experienced tremendous growth since its inception--so much that in August 2004, the company split into two distinct businesses: a Book Company under the name Teacher Created Resources headed by Smith, and a Curriculum Company that maintains the name Teacher Created Materials headed by Cracchiolo. We publish quality resource books at the early childhood, elementary, middle school, and high school levels. Our books cover all aspects of the curriculum--language arts, social studies, math, science, technology, and the arts. In addition, we help teachers and parents create stimulating learning environments by producing colorful bulletin boards, stickers, awards, notepads, postcards, name tags, and incentive charts.
