We are a State Approved Certification program that prepares eligible candidates for a rewarding profession in Education. We BUILD TEACHERS, as our name implies, we take individuals who have a bachelors degree or are about to graduate with a bachelors degree and train them to become successful teachers. We prepare them for state exams using an intensive online curriculum, and test preparation material. We supervise them in the field to support and guide them in becoming successful teachers. We are with them every step of the way and take pride in the candidates we produce. We have been in operation since March of 2005 and in that time we have certified thousands of teachers. We strive to make the Alternative Certification process as easy and efficient as possible while still providing our candidates with a rich curriculum and a complete program that thoroughly prepares them for success in the classroom. We believe that by making the process for certification easier, our candidates will have more time for lesson planning, grading, and parent contact, thereby the children being taught by our teachers will benefit greatly.
