Tarmac designs, builds and scales custom web and mobile apps. We are technology agnostic and leverage a wide array of modern languages like Ruby, Javascript, Python, Java, Elixir on the web side. On the mobile front, our preference is always to build natively, but have also delivered incredible cross-platform apps using React Native. Our first priority at Tarmac is quality. For us, quality starts with TDD/BDD. Our goal is to write unit, functional and integration tests and then leverage a continuous integration (CI) server to insure that all our software is working and behaving as expected. We firmly believe that the best way to deliver software is in small chunks and getting product validation continually. This can mean more than 10 times per day in some circumstances. Finally, upon acceptance, we leverage automation to get the work into product (CD). This focus on quality has led to consistent growth over the past six years. We've grown at nearly 70% per year and the vast majority of the growth has come through client referrals. There seems to be no glaring pattern in the profile of our clients. They have ranged from Fortune 10 companies to a small group of friends with an app idea.
