TYR is the largest privately held performance swimwear manufacturer in North America. TYR's parent company, Swimwear Anywhere, is the second largest branded swimwear manufacturer in North America. Among their stable of brands, Swimwear Anywhere holds the swimwear license for Calvin Klein, DKNY, and Juicy Couture. TYR Sport Inc. is a global brand with more than 29 licensees worldwide. Hans Fassnacht, Vice President International, is a Silver Medalist from the 1972 Olympic Games, a two-time World Record holder, and member of the International Swimming Hall of Fame. Hans was considered the Federal Republic of Germany's greatest post World War II swimmer and athlete during a period when the country needed a great champion in sports. Because of Fassnacht's swimming accomplishments, he was selected as Germany's Sportsman of the Year three straight years in a row: 1969, 1970 and 1971.
