It was created as a tangible manifestation of our care for the environment, animal welfare and human health. Our belief is that food is so much more than the macro- and micronutrients it’s made of. Food has meaning. It is part of our culture and our heritage. It can evoke joy, comfort, and a sense of belonging. Our goal is to create protein from plants that honours that meaning.
