What Is TLN Media Group?

TLN Media Group (TMG) is a Canadian owned privately held company engaged in the TV channel business, media production, distribution and live events production. \n\nTMG's primary TV channel originally launched in 1984 as "Telelatino" and is now known as "TLN". TLN is carried on virtually all Canadian pay TV platforms and the channel can be seen in approximately 6 million homes. TLN is a general interest service that broadcasts a wide variety of domestic and international programming including drama, variety, lifestyle, news and sports. TLN has evolved from its origins as an Italian and Spanish language channel to appeal to a wider segment of Canadians with an English language stream of culturally connected programming. \n\nAdditional channels offered by TMG include 6 All-Spanish language TV channels (Univision Canada, TeleNiños, Cinelatino, Centroamerica TV, WAPA America, Television Dominicana), 3 All-Italian language channels (Mediaset Italia Canada, TGCOM24 Canada, TeleBimbi), and English language sports channel EuroWorld Sport. \n\nTMG also develops and produces a wide variety of TV and digital media productions which are distributed on TV and digital channels in Canada and worldwide .\n\nLive events productions include "Salsa on St. Clair" a long running annual Toronto summer street festival, recently expanded into "Salsa in Toronto", a month-long series of affiliated Hispanic themed cultural and entertainment events across the City of Toronto and Province of Ontario, on behalf of the Canadian Salsa Festivals Group, a federal not-for-profit corporation.
