Technical Consumer Products, Inc. (TCP) designs, develops and markets energy-efficient lighting products and accessories. The Company's wide variety of compact fluorescent products and accessories offer the aesthetic features and application flexibility found in traditional incandescent lighting while providing energy cost savings and longer product life. Products include the SpringLamp, which is one of the first compact fluorescent lamps with a twisted tube design, as well as one of the first fully dimmable compact fluorescent lamps to be commercially available in the United States. The Company provides its products and components to original equipment manufacturers, such as General Electric Corp., and also markets them to commercial and industrial customers in the hospitality, restaurant, construction and entertainment markets. Products are also sold to retail customers under the TCP brand name through such outlets as The Home Depot and Cosco Wholesale Corporation.
