What started in Paducah, Kentucky in 1979 as a mechanical contracting company under the name Swift and Staley Mechanical Contractors has today evolved into Swift & Staley Incorporated (SSI) headquartered in Paducah, Kentucky while also operating in Portsmouth, Ohio. In the beginning, Swift & Staley worked as a construction contractor in the Purchase Area on projects such as bridges, roads, cemeteries and sewage lines. After building years of experience and developing a reputation for excellent performance, Swift & Staley’s services expanded into electrical and general contracting. Today, Swift & Staley is a 100% employee owned contracting company specializing in completing projects early and under budget.
