What Is Swan Christian Education Association?

SCEA partners with families and communities to provide Christ-centred education. Our organisation was founded over 30 years ago with one school in Midland and has since grown to an Association that owns and operates 7 schools in Western Australia across 8 campuses reaching from Alkimos to Bedfordale. Our Schools include Swan Christian College, Kalamunda Christian School, Beechboro Christian School, Mundaring Christian College, Southern Hills Christian College, Ellenbrook Christian College, and new Northshore Christian Grammar School. The Association provides a full range of services to our schools that include educational consultation, professional development, human resources, finance, maintenance, risk management, information and communication technology and marketing. These services enable our schools to flourish and focus on the core business of educating students. Through the SCEA Institute of Teaching and Learning, we also operate the annual Better Education Conference, attended by hundreds of teachers and educational leaders, where we push the boundaries in investigating and implementing the latest educational research and practice. As our Association develops, we seek to be innovative in the way we deliver education and enable learning and are now venturing into partnerships to enable us to be leaders in Christ-centred education.
