Suncadia is a Built Green 6,000-plus acre four-star four-season resort located 80 miles from Seattle near Roslyn; an easy drive along the Mountains to Sound Greenway on I-90. Suncadia resort is owned and operated by Suncadia LLC, a company jointly owned by subsidiaries of JELD-WEN Inc. and Lowe Enterprises, Inc. JELD-WEN is a world leader in the manufacture of windows and doors and Lowe Enterprises is a leading national real estate firm which has developed, acquired or managed more than $6 billion in real estate assets. Suncadia offers two resort golf courses, Prospector designed by Arnold Palmer Development Company, and Rope Rider, which is under construction and is being designed by Jacobson-Hardy Design Group. An additional private course designed by Tom Doak through his design company, Renaissance Golf is also underway in the exclusive Suncadia neighborhood of Tumble Creek. The heart of Suncadia will be its village with small one-of-a-kind shops, restaurants and resident services, all anchored by the grand Suncadia Lodge overlooking the beautiful Cle Elum River. The lodge is planned to include guest rooms and a restaurant and will offer services through the adjacent spa and conference facilities. Suncadia will be a fantastic location for displaying the benefits of green building, with its natural setting and multitude of outdoor opportunities for all. Ultimately, Suncadia will contain a collection of distinct and inspired neighborhoods. Each of these neighborhoods will be reflective of its unique setting and the open spaces will be protected by the Suncadia Conservancy. In conjunction with the Suncadia Foundation, the Suncadia Conservancy protects, into perpetuity, the precious Cle Elum River corridor so that this land will remain natural and open for generations to come.
