We’re 100% dedicated to providing specialist services in the non profit sector that improve the lifelong mental health of children, young people and adults – and help people with complex needs live better. Although Stride began 113 years ago simply as a way to help people find a place to live and work, we’re now leaders in early intervention and are currently working to expand our range of specialist services. That’s meant our brand has evolved too. We’ve recently changed our name from Aftercare to Stride. This reflects our focus on both the prevention and treatment of mental health conditions – building on the work we do with families and communities to roll out more evidence-based services across Australia. As a provider of complex and higher risk NDIS services, we go through various checks to make sure the quality of our support is where it needs to be. This involves being audited against the NDIS Practice Standards, meeting strict certification requirements and following the NDIS Code of Conduct.
