What Is StreetLightUSA?

More than 300,000 children are trafficked in the United States each year.* Approximately 1.8 million adolescents in the United States have been the victims of sexual assault. ** StreetLightUSA is a Christ centered residential center specializing in the care and healing of victims of child sex trafficking and sexual trauma. We combat this injustice through direct care for victims, public awareness, and prevention. StreetLightUSA’s program features: 24-hour care A safe, fully staffed, and secured campus Direct Care staff members are experienced and trained in the care of troubled adolescents. An on-site staff therapist who meets with girls individually and in groups to prepare a detailed case plan for a healthy spirit, mind and body; educational success and completion; development of life skills and career goals; and assistance with legal matters. Special focus on dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder, Stockholm Syndrome, and long-term effects of abuse and exploitation.
