At STERLING we utilize Landmark Graphics ProMAX® SeisSpace® software package. Having worked with this software virtually since its inception, we have the insights needed to optimize the utilization of the system. Optimum flows can be established from subtle stratigraphy, reefs and remnants to DZO (de-migrate to zero offset) flows for extremely complex structural geology. It is all in the knowledge of the components of the system's software and the analyst's ability to manipulate it while incorporating our client's knowledge of the nuances of the play. STERLING also maintains a growing body of proprietary advanced signal processing software to make the most of our client's data. With the truly interactive nature of the ProMAX® system, we can tune velocities, mutes, filters and many other parameters in minutes. Current batch processing systems that have been converted to pseudo-interactivity do not offer the flexibility of a truly interactive system like ProMAX®.
