What Is Staying Ahead of the Game?
We are an academic coaching and tutoring organization. While we offer subject-specific tutoring and standardized test prep as needed, the focus of our unique coaching program is helping students to improve their executive functioning skills. Our coaches cover topics such as organization, prioritization, time-management, study skills, self-efficacy, social confidence, and impression management. Our goal is to help students perform to their potential by equipping them with the systems, habits, tools, and skills they need to manage stress and achieve greater success. Life as a student today is hectic and often overwhelming. Balancing the demands of school, extracurricular activities, and family responsibilities can be an incredible challenge, especially in this age of social media and attention overload. Our goal is to help students achieve balance and reach their goals while still leaving time for one of the most important aspects of being young: having fun! Our one-on-one approach to academic coaching is unique because it focuses on the development of life skills that transcend the classroom. We teach organization, time management, effective learning strategies, and impression management or social aptitude. We coach students through the process of developing systems and routines that are grounded in executive functioning skills so that they can get the grades they want in the most efficient way possible.
