n 1968 Star Equipment Ltd was started by Max Bowman with two other employees, his wife and a long time friend from school with one simple thought, to provide contractors with high quality construction equipment, backed by service and knowledge that only we could provide. Since then SEL has gone from a 3 person one location operation to over 60 people in 3 locations throughout central and eastern Iowa. Not only does SEL strive to provide you the best current and up to date construction equipment we also provide trained staff to answer your questions and needs. SEL spends more than $50,000 annually sending employees to training, seminars, and conferences directly related to your industry in an effort to keep them trained. SEL has always felt that to sell a product we must be able to support, maintain and repair that product.
