Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation is the parent body of Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and ResearchCentre (SSCHRC), Sri Shankara National Centre for Cancer Prevention and Research and CanAID. SSCHRC started its operations on August 15, 2012, recognized as a leading state-of-the-art affordable cancer hospital, it treats patients from across India and her neighbours. SSCHRC has 202 in-patient beds, 74 day care beds 8 operation theaters, 20 ICU beds, two linear accelerators, brachytherapy unit, exclusive Breast Clinic and a daycare chemotherapy centre.
