What Is Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation?

We provide courses, workshops and seminars in how to improve teaching in a wide range of sports and fitness skills. Our main focus is on improving the quality and range of these skills in the public school and after-school settings, but our curricula, lesson plans and techniques are easily adaptable to sports organizations, community-based organizations and other interested parties. We have recruited some of the best and most experienced physical education teachers and athletic coaches, many of them nationally-recognized as leaders in their disciplines. Continuing our close relationship with the NY Amateur Sports Alliance, we have partnered with many of the regions leading sports organizations, such as NY Junior Tennis League, Harlem RBI and MetroSoccer NY. We are also in the process of negotiating with national governing bodies and local and state education departments so that many of our courses will be accredited or carry college credits or CEUs.
