What Is Space Center?
A Century of Experience In 1916, Space Center, Inc. began with a single warehouse location in Saint Paul, Minnesota, known as the Terminal Warehouse Company. Under the same continuous family ownership and with that single warehouse as a launching pad, Space Center expanded through the years into over 19 million square feet in major distribution markets across the entire United States. As we move beyond our 100 year anniversary, Space Center’s varied holdings now encompass state-of-the-art distribution buildings suitable for e-commerce fulfillment; rail served industrial land available for Build-to-Suit or speculative development; creatively redeveloped limestone caves converted into highly functional, climate constant warehouse/distribution/manufacturing space; and several repurposed manufacturing buildings now used for distribution and manufacturing. Our customers include the Fortune 500, the Federal Government and many entrepreneurial businesses of all sizes. Space Center’s projects spread across eight states, and many of the major U.S. distribution markets offer our customers a wide range of options and solutions for their varying distribution and manufacturing needs. In addition to real estate holdings, Space Center provides third-party logistics services and owns an oil and gas services company.
