What Is Southern Cross Care Queensland?

Southern Cross Care Queensland is a not-for-profit, charitable organisation and was founded on unshakeable Catholic values built around valuing and respecting human lives. Our role is to support people in the choices they make for their health, well-being and general living. Since opening our first facility, in 1978 there has been a great deal of change in the delivery of Care services to the community. While times have changed, there has been no change in our unwavering commitment to the provision of the highest quality services, and the care, love and respect that we offer to those who choose to come to live with us or use our services. We now have 5 retirement villages, 11 aged care facilities and operate Community Services across South East Queensland, supporting the aged and the disabled in their own homes. Our large and dedicated team of seniors’ living and aged care professionals believe in our values and endeavour to always deliver the best in care, support, therapy, general maintenance and administration. It’s been this way at Southern Cross Care Queensland for nearly 40 years from the opening of our first facility in Holland Park to now where we have close to 500 independent living units and over 630 residential care places. We are the name behind the home of many hundreds of Queenslanders. We look after people. We never forget that each and every person in the Southern Cross Care extended family is an amazing individual.
