South Congress Hotel features 71 guest rooms, 10 suites, two premier suites, three restaurants, coffeeshop, pool and lobby bars, retail shops, and parking garage and valet. Located only a mile from the Austin Convention Center and walking distance from some of the city's most iconic venues, South congress lends itself to a variety of groups and events. The event space at South Congress Hotel features a versatile indoor and outdoor space, courtyards, gardens, and pre-function room that can accommodate private events for up to 450 guests. South Congress Hotel's food and beverage outlets include Café No Sé, Central Standard Bar & Grill, Mañana Coffee & Bakeshop, Otoko, Watertrade and the award winning SCH Lobby Bar. The spaces are helmed by Executive Pastry Chef and James Beard semifinalist, Amanda Rockman. Designed to blend into its surroundings, the inspiration behind South Congress Hotel was to build more than just a great hotel, but to expand upon the sense of place defined by South Congress and South Austin. South Congress Hotel is locally designed and draws upon a combination of California-inspired elements, mid-century features, and Brazilian Modernism. All guestrooms and suites include furniture and textiles by Studio MAI – a combination of new, vintage, and found pieces that were custom designed and fabricated or sourced from around the world.
