What Is South Bay Workforce Investment Board?

The South Bay Workforce Investment Board (SBWIB) provides human resource services at no cost to business and jobs seekers and manages many labor programs to keep people employed in the Los Angeles South Bay area. The Board is comprised of 54 members representing business, labor, education, government, economic development, One-Stop partners and other local workforce system stakeholders. It serves eleven (11) cities located in southwest Los Angeles County, including Hawthorne, Inglewood, Gardena, Carson, Lawndale, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Lomita and Torrance.
