Our Mission Smart Energy Group was founded on the simple premise of helping Australia realise its full solar potential, through harnessing the lucky countries abundance of sun. As a vertically integrated solar technology company, we are able to simplify our mission of changing the future one roof at a time. This change involves reducing energy costs of Australian households and businesses while improving the nations green consciousness. Our Impact In 2016 long-time friends Elliot Hayes and Beau Savage co-founded the company after having worked in solar since finishing school. In this short time, Smart Energy Group has grown from three to 100 employees and has branches in Byron Bay, Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney, Perth, Gosford and Wollongong. In 2017 Smart Energy Group installed over 4 megawatts of solar on more than 1,100 homes. Combined, Smart Energy's customers are estimated to save almost $2 million on their energy bills in 2018. How we work Quality and customer satisfaction is at the core of what we do. That's why we only use Clean Energy Council accredited installers and Tier 1 products. We are committed to providing an environmentally friendly, affordable and enduring alternative to polluting electricity generators.
