Skillset has operated in regional NSW for over 35 years. Our vision is to create the best future imaginable. We deliver a range of Education, Workforce and Environment programs that help individuals, businesses and communities reach their full potential. Since Skillset's inception in 1982, we have employed and trained thousands of apprentices and trainees across the region. These apprentices have gone on to keep our skills base local and our regional businesses supplied with quality professionals. In 2012 Skillset cemented its commitment to the future of regional communities by building the Flannery Centre in Bathurst. Since then, Skillset has delivered a range of education, workforce and environment programs from the Flannery Centre including the Apprenticeship Program, Permanent Recruitment, Low Income Energy Efficiency Program, Industrial Ecology Program, Green Army, Safer Driver Course, Skillset Workforce Mentor Plus, Skillset Senior College which by 2017 will be providing an alternative pathway for years 10 to 12 education for over 70 local young people.
