Sizewell C, a proposed new nuclear power station in Suffolk, has the potential to generate the reliable low-carbon electricity the country needs for decades to come. It will also make a lasting positive difference to the economy in the east of England. The project is being developed by EDF Energy, together with our long-standing partners CGN. Our joint experience of working together on a range of projects, including constructing two EPR reactors at Taishan in China, is bringing direct benefits to Hinkley Point C and will do the same for the Sizewell C project.
