This AfroTech business was created by 2 Howard University graduates who saw the need for people to be able to find and connect to black-owned businesses using their phones anywhere in the world. The app began as a directory which enables you to conveniently find local businesses & services in your area like restaurants, barbershops/ salons, banks, doctor's, day care services, etc. The vision was soon expanded to include a marketplace feature. Now you can not only find thousands of businesses and professionals, but also shop hundreds of products locally and around the world from culturally diverse talented entrepreneurs. The website is currently in product development, and will be available from August 2019. With the app and website, you can explore these products and services in the United States, South Africa and England with many more to come.
