What Is Sensatek Propulsion Technology?

Sensatek Propulsion Technology Inc. is a university spinout company that was formed to license patented technology that wirelessly detects extreme temperature, pressure, and strain. Our technology allows wireless monitoring of harsh environments inside application such as fuel cells, gas turbine engines, and rocket propulsion that is not currently available on the market. Our sensors are designed to withstand the extraordinarily harsh environments in combustion applications—creating benefits in longevity of component life, improvements in safety to those monitoring the equipment, reduced downtime issues resulting in dramatic cost savings and, of course, reliability for applications. Our technology was sponsored by the National Science Foundation and U.S. Department of Energy.
