Selamat (pronounced sell-ah-met) is a warm greeting, a welcome, a thank you; the “Aloha” of Southeast Asia where we manufacture many of our products. Since Selamat’s acquisition in 2004 by Shannon and Thatcher Davis, the company’s laid-back California style has evolved into four distinct lines: our core Selamat brand, as well as licensed capsule collections for Morris & Co, Justina Blakeney and the Florence Broadhurst Design Archive. Our furniture, lighting and home décor pieces are inspired by a range of traditional and modern influences, but are always rooted in sustainable, eco-friendly design practices.
