What Is Scott Technology Group?
Specialties: We are an independently owned and operated office equipment dealer for Canon, Ricoh / Savin, and HP. We sell and service copiers, printers, scanners, fax machines, and multi-function printers. Our specialty that sets us apart is, we are a group of experienced professionals who can conduct an analysis of your organizations print environment and present you with an executive summary of the current state of the print fleet and the associated costs. Using this analysis as a baseline, we work together with our clients to find ways of reducting overall print costs, finding ways to streamline document intensive processes, and implement systems to work with documents electronically to increase productivity. History: Est. in 1995 Giles Scott, the founder of the Scott Technology Group, Inc. started the company out of his garage in 1995 with the vision of providing the type of copier repair service he knew other local businesses craved. Giles became disenchanted with the corporate approach while working as the Service Manager at a national copier corporation. In an effort to drive profits, the company had laid off many of the technicians, and service response had fallen to 4 days for down machines. Realizing there was a better way, Giles left the corporate rat race and began providing quick, personalized service with a 4-hour response time guarantee. This approach quickly allowed him to gain a sizable customer base and grow the company to what it is today.
