Satellite Engineering Group Revenue and Competitors

Satellite Engineering Group, Inc. was founded in 1983. Initially, the company sold fiberglass satellite antennas and electronics to two-way radio dealers on a nationwide basis. By 1985, the company expanded the distribution business by representing the majority of leading satellite equipment manufacturers and selling their products to a variety of customers. In 1985, the company also started an installation and maintenance division. Soon, S.E.G. received a contract installing satellite and off-air systems at Holiday Inns, for Comsat Video Enterprises. This led to a major contract whereby S.E.G. maintained 800 hotel systems for Comsat. In addition to these two contracts, S.E.G. installed many new hotel systems including the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas and the Palmer House in Chicago.
