Founded in 1972, Sanchez Oil & Gas Corporation (SOG), headquartered in Houston, Texas is a private company engaged in the exploration for and development of oil and natural gas in the Gulf Coast and South Texas regions. Our competitive advantage is found in the application of proprietary seismic attribute analysis used in the interpretations of 3-D seismic data when generating onshore oil and natural gas exploration opportunities. SOG has an extensive technological asset base that includes more than 1,500 square miles of 3-D seismic data, 24,000 miles of 2-D data, 42,000 digital well logs and a fully integrated suite of the latest geological interpretation software that leverages our extensive data set.
