Saga Communications, Inc. is a broadcast company primarily engaged in acquiring, developing and operating radio and television stations. As of December 31, 2007, the Company owned or operated 91 radio stations, five television stations, four low-power television stations and five radio information networks serving 26 markets throughout the United States. On November 1, 2007, the Company acquired a frequency modulation (FM) radio station (WCLZ-FM) serving the Portland, Maine. On August 31, 2007, the Company acquired two radio stations (WKRT-AM and WIII-FM licensed to Cortland, New York, and an FM translator station that rebroadcasts WIII) serving the Ithaca, New York market.
