Safe and Sound Somerset Revenue and Competitors

Safe+Sound Somerset is a non-profit organization that empowers survivors of domestic abuse and engages the community to break the cycle of violence. The services offered include a safe house, transitional housing, 24-7 call or text hotline, individual and group counseling, legal advocacy, and community outreach and education. Additional programs empower survivors; financial empowerment, resume writing, career guidance, parenting workshops, and legal clinics. Because children who witness domestic abuse are profoundly impacted, children's programs are offered to help them begin to heal. The texting option to the hotline was needed because one in three teens are abused in a dating relationship. With the objective of breaking the cycle of violence, Safe+Sound Somerset does community outreach into schools to educate teens about healthy relationships providing information about where they can turn if they need help.
