Southern Star, DISH Network’s largest Regional Service Provider (RSP), has been in business since 1985. Originally Fields Satellite, the company got its start selling, installing, and servicing C-Band satellite systems. In the 90’s the company sold, installed and serviced Primestar, RCA, and DirecTV systems. In 2001, Southern Star joined forces with DISH Network as their RSP in much of Texas and Arkansas, as well as locations in Oklahoma & Louisiana.\r\n \r\nFrom the beginning, Southern Star has set itself apart in the industry as a \r\nquality and growth leader and is now the largest RSP in the country, servicing \r\nover 35,000 customers per month. We employ over 600 employees, many satellite \r\ntechnicians, in 15 offices.
