SICOM is a full service Point of Sale (POS) company dedicated to the research, design, development, marketing, manufacturing, and service of POS computer systems. SICOM occupies a 22,000 square foot office and plant in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. SICOM is an outgrowth of WTD Incorporated. WTD was a product development company formed in 1972 by William Terry Doan. WTD focused on the research, design and development of POS systems. These systems were then licensed to major POS companies. The licensed companies then manufactured, marketed, installed, and serviced the products. During this period, WTD obtained the experience necessary to successfully market, support, and service the POS customer. Over 60,000 terminals designed by WTD have been sold in the United States and Canada and Western Europe. Today, SICOM offers a POS system based on PC compatible computers. Manufactured in the United States at SICOM's Doylestown headquarters, these systems are specifically designed for the demanding Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) environment. SICOM provides its clients with around-the-clock system support, along with a wide range of maintenance and client training services. Expansion into world markets and the addition of new system products are part of SICOM's on-going and future plans. SICOM is dedicated to providing the total solution for the QSR industry.
