What Is Rolld Australia?

If you’re ever lucky enough to visit Vietnam, then one of the cheapest and most amazing things to do is to stop, take a seat on a little plastic chair and table and eat street food. Not only will you see Vietnam in slow motion but sample addictive, fresh and home cooked food that has just the right salty, sweet and crunch. Food in Vietnam is always fresh. Every morning thousands of people cram their overly crowded local wet markets to buy meat, fish and vegetables, take home and cook their morning meal. They do this again just before lunch and dinner. And if you were working then you’d eat someone else’s home cooked food at one of this street eats sprawled out on what seems like on every corner and every street. This is the concept behind the Rolld Vietnamese street food eatery. Co-founder, Bao Hoang’s mother’s food is the inspiration and motivation to put Vietnamese street food under the spot light in a significant way. If you speak to any Vietnamese, they would probably tell you that their mother is the best cook. So essentially Rolld food is about everyone’s mother, a celebration of everyone’s family and Vietnam. Historically the addictiveness of Vietnamese street food in Australia is satisfied by Vietnamese food destinations. It has never been systematically replicated on a mass scale before because the nature of Vietnamese food requires it to be hand-made and fresh, which is very challenging. Rolld has not only brought the concept of Vietnamese street eats to Australia but have created a business model that could be systematically replicated. The quirkiness of the brand is very intentional reflecting our culture with each store looking edgy & quite different from each other. In just 3 short years, Rolld has opened 30 stores Australia-wide. Slowing down is not on the agenda and an international footprint is just inevitable. Not to mention it's sister retail brand, Mama's Buoi. So satisfy your cravings at Rolld or Mama's Buoi.
