What Is Richmond Emergency Physicians?

Richmond Emergency Physicians, Inc. is a physician led medical group dedicated to providing our community with the highest quality emergency medical care in a compassionate manner. Most of the physicians that comprise Richmond Emergency Physicians, Inc. (REPI) have been serving the Richmond community for years; some for twenty years or more. We are proud to call Richmond home and we take enormous pride in being able to meet the Emergency Medical needs of our friends and neighbors. Currently, REPI consists of over 30 full-time physicians who are Board Certified in Adult Emergency Medicine; Pediatric Emergency Medicine, or both. REPI is the exclusive provider of emergency medicine services to St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, VA as well as the St. Francis Medical Center. REPI also serves two free standing departments: Bon Secours Westchester Emergency Center in Midlothian VA and Bon Secours Short Pump Emergency Center in Short Pump, VA. REPI is a talented, community-minded organization with an outstanding reputation for excellence in producing the best medical outcomes possible. REPI is built on a rock-solid foundation. The cornerstone of this foundation is REPI’s stability. REPI’s stability is a result of our democratic governance and unique organizational structure. REPI is proud to be a genuinely “physician owned” practice that encourages its physicians to take active roles in the leadership and direction of the group. Our physicians are true stakeholders who understand that REPI’s future is their future as well. Our organizational structure is different than that of most Emergency Medicine groups in the area; but it is that differentiation that has allowed us to nurture and promote a culture that inspires true pride of ownership.
