What Is Retailsoft?

Retailsoft caters to small and medium-sized retailers by helping them make better use of their existing POS, inventory control and e-commerce systems. The Retailsoft staff is made up of former executives from various software companies operating in the retail POS systems industry. The group includes an experience staff from sales, support, installation services and software developers. We understand how retailers work and use systems today and know they need help in getting the maximum use from their systems thru education, training and self evaluation surveys. The Retailsoft services include POS system selection, and RFP creation and circulation. We also help with the conversion process of moving from one system to another from data scrubbing and transferring data to training programs. Retailsoft can also help negotiate a better relationship with your current POS by altering how you're serviced and what plans you choose to service your system. We also have ties to the processing industry and can help get better rates, provide tools that let you processing be integrated at POS, and we even can guide you on topics becoming EMV compliant and maintaining PCI standards. Our flag ship service, System Assessment, includes taking an inventory of your existing system to make improvements to usage all the way to helping select and implement a new system. Once we make an initial assessment of how the systems is being used we can make recommendations, sets user goals and create a workable time-line to follow. We normally see generous revenue returns for our customers within 4-6 months. Typically we help small to medium-sized retailers that have a small IT staff or want us to provide IT type services on a free lance basis. The process is easy to get started. First we want to get some basic info about what systems is there now and how it is being used, how old/young it may be, even info about hardware models in use. We then want to know what the retailer's goal is or intent on using it. We address both shot and long term timeframes for our end results. We'll then provide a detailed report of the findings and a plan and timeline to meet the needs of the retailer and even the possible costs associated with making changes.
