Founded in 1945 as Plainfield Tobacco and Candy Company in Plainfield, New Jersey, the company has been owned and operated by the Resnick family since 1966. In 1989, spurred by growth and a diversified product line, the company, then led by Larry Resnick, changed the name of the company to Resnick Distributors and moved to a larger facility in neighboring South Plainfield. Today, the company, now in its third generation, is headquartered in New Brunswick, NJ, in a climate-controlled 100,000 square foot facility and maintains two sales offices and trucking depots located in Scranton and Bristol, Pennsylvania. We service about 1,700 unique locations weekly including. - convenience stores, pharmacies, supermarkets, tobacco shops, gift shops, specialty stores, wholesalers and concessions.
