Ravenscroft School Revenue and Competitors

Ravenscroft celebrates a long legacy of philanthropy. The School was founded in 1862 through the generosity of a bequest made by Josiah Ogden Watson. Since that time, generations of families have made Ravenscroft one of their philanthropic priorities. The Office of Institutional Advancement invites you to explore this section to learn more about the many ways you can make a meaningful impact on Ravenscroft School and its students. This section provides information on charitable giving programs, answers commonly asked questions, and offers easy ways for you to support the School. While you will find there are a number of ways to give to Ravenscroft, the Annual Fund is the foundation of our giving opportunities. The Annual Fund bridges the gap between tuition and the actual cost to educate a student at Ravenscroft. In 2009/2010 the gap is $2,500 per student. We encourage every member of our community to make a gift to the Annual Fund. Ravenscroft is what it is today because of generous donations from parents, alumni, grandparents, alumni parents, faculty staff, corporations and foundations who have extended their helping hands over the years. As we advance the mission of the School and look to meet the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, we hope that you will continue this strong independent school tradition of charitable giving that makes it all possible.
