Situated on 165 beautiful acres outside the village of Irvington in Virginia’s Northern Neck, RWC is home to those who want the independence and worry-free lifestyle afforded them in a tranquil, rural setting. RWC strives to provide residents everything they require for daily living right in the neighborhood: • A wide range of apartments, cottages, and single-family homes provide choices for residents to select the home and lifestyle that best meets their personal needs and desires. • The Chesapeake Center, centrally located on the campus, houses several dining venues, post office boxes, an auditorium, a salon, a creative arts and crafts area, a residents’ library, meeting spaces, a game room, and a branch office of Chesapeake Bank (with safe deposit boxes). • RWC is building a new Wellness Center that will offer expanded health and wellness activities to encourage residents to become and remain as healthy as possible as they age. • The RWC community includes an on-site resident health clinic, assisted living suites, enhanced assisted living accommodations, skilled nursing care, an Adult Day Program and home health care and services. Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury, Inc. is a Virginia nonprofit corporation affiliated with the Episcopal and Presbyterian churches. All residents are welcome.
