Radix Wire was founded in 1944. We were driven to earn a reputation as the leading source of problem-solving solutions for industries that require high temperature and high performance electrical wire and cable. Radix is best known as a developer of innovative solutions for high temperature applications. We invented Sil-A-Blend®, DuraBlend® and DuraFlex® technologies to solve high temperature wire problems.Radix Wire invented the fist 550°C UL listed wire in response to a customer requirement. Radix has established relationships with OEM appliance manufacturers worldwide.Over 15% of our total revenue comes from export sales. We maintain two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Northeast Ohio, capable of manufacturing over 200,000,000 feet of high temperature wire and cable a year, using cell manufacturing to focus complete production responsibility with specific production teams. This approach improves quality and throughput while allowing us to manufacture custom wire and cable quickly and efficiently. Today, our products are at work in a wide range of applications and industries including aerospace, automotive, metallurgy, consumer appliances and manufacturing. We provide our products to both Original Equipment Manufacturers and industrial customers through a global network of sales representatives and distribution partners.
