What Is RSL Queensland?

Picture a veteran, struggling with PTSD, living in remote Queensland, isolated from family and friends who want to help but don’t know how. Now picture that same veteran, with an iPad, connected to a specialist in veteran welfare who calls him every day — to check on his wellbeing, state of mind, and progress towards the goals they have set together. RSL Queensland is a dynamic and growing organisation committed to improving the welfare and wellbeing of current and former Defence force members and their families. We have been doing this for 100 years and we’re gearing ourselves up to continue for 100 more. Our aim is for the people who need our help to be able to talk to us any time, anywhere, on any device they choose. For a workforce who are not only passionate and committed to the cause, but the best and brightest in their fields. For an organisation that is nimble, leading edge, and a great place to work. Helping to support our veterans is a big job, and to ensure we meet demand, provide the highest quality of care, and can be there for the next century, we have grown to be a business with a turnover of $100 million. To achieve our RSL2020 vision, we are embarking on a program of significant technical and cultural transformation. Our workforce is set to increase by 50% and we are looking for people who love a challenge, who are excited by change, and who are committed to delivering evolutionary results.
