What Is REC Solar?
REC Solar was founded in 1997 by Judy Ledford and Fred Sisson. Both are alumni of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA, and many of the company’s employees are also Cal Poly alumni. REC Solar is one of only a few solar electric installers in California with engineers certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners. Our company’s purpose is to protect the quality of life for future generations through the use of technology that positively impacts the environment. In this capacity, we specialize in solar electric design and installation, offering the latest in custom designed systems for commercial and residential customers. We maintain a dedicated staff of engineers, designers, and installers to make solar a turnkey solution for our customers.
