What Is Promise Community Homes - formerly Rainbow Village Properties?

In 1973, our visionary founders created an oasis — seven homes and the Wolff Community Center on Dautel Lane in Creve Coeur. This “village” provides specialized housing (with partners delivering supportive care) for adults with I/DD. In the decades since, we’ve expanded to 88 homes throughout the St. Louis Metro area serving 300+ residents. And we welcome more than 1,000 people of all abilities annually to our accessible, integrated community center. To best communicate our mission and the population we serve, as of January, 2021, we are operating under a new name and brand identity — Promise Community Homes. To honor our founders, our portfolio of properties will always include “Rainbow Village by Promise Community Homes” - the original houses and center on Dautel Lane.
