Project F helps clients remove the systemic barriers to achieving gender balanced digital technology teams. The CEO of Sydney based talent strategy consultancy, Future Of Work, saw progressive businesses across Australia struggling to scale without increasing already problematic “diversity debts”. Boardroom focus and increasing media scrutiny on equality made it clear it was time to do something about it and that something is Project F . Challenges in hiring and retaining female tech’ talent is a daily reality for all technology leaders who are under pressure to build, scale and develop their products at speed. The good news is there are so many amazing women in the technology community in Australia and indeed the world, who simply want to grow and progress their careers in inclusive environments with great career prospects. The time to bring these two communities together is now and Project F is building the bridge. OUR VISION: A landscape of organisations adapting their structures around the their female talent instead of women adapting their lives and working styles to survive. Where there is no gender gap to mention. Where women have an equal chance to flourish in careers in tech’ as men and organisations are thriving because of it. HOW? The bold stance we take is to only work with companies who are truly committed to closing the gender gap in their tech teams. However there’s no judgement here. Many high-growth companies have had to ‘land grab’ tech talent to get products built fast and that’s cost them the ability to focus on achieving gender balance. Most of Australia achieves good cultural diversity, but reaching desired levels of female representation is far more challenging. We run a Program that helps organisations address their barriers to gender diversity in tech and we provide unique women-only talent pipelining exclusively for our clients.
