Prelude Services was created in partnership with Presbyterian Homes, Inc. (PHI) and Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries (Diakon) in 1998 to provide information technology services to each company. PHI and Diakon provide health care and senior living services in the mid-Atlantic area of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Ohio. Diakon also provides a range of programs to meet the needs of children, youth, adults, older adults and families in the ministries and urban areas they serve. Prelude offers a full range of services that include outsourcing, hosting, software development, help desk, training, and telecommunications. The company supports more than 150 senior and community service locations in 12 states. Prelude integrates technology and provides software tools to help manage data our clients need to make informed business decisions. As an IT provider jointly owned by PHI and Diakon, Prelude is proud to do its part for CAST who shares a common vision - to help support the mission of our industry and find innovative, consumer-based technologies that will provide value and enhance the delivery of care.
