Founded in 1986 by Leonard J. Moniz, Jr., Precision Concrete Construction quickly established a reputation as a high quality place and finish operation. Over the past 20 years, that reputation has expanded to include not only finishing concrete, but virtually every other aspect of concrete construction as well. From field engineers to heavy equipment operators, architectural concrete "artists" to demolition experts, Precision has the experienced personnel and equipment to perform at the highest level. Additionally, as our expertise has increased, so has our coverage, expanding from our home in Atlanta to blanketing the Southeast and beyond. Revenue has increased and the company has earned its ranking among the Engineering News-Record's Top 600 Specialty Contractors at number 324, as well as being rated 49th in Concrete Construction's Top 100 list of Concrete Contractors. Precision has prepared for the future by strengthening the Company's infrastructure and by adding management and specialized individuals to provide for the needs of our clients. The relocation of the Corporate Offices into larger quarters will enable Precision Concrete to train, equip and maintain a workforce that currently numbers approximately 500 field employees. Our full-time Safety Director and staff ensure that all of Precision Concrete's projects meet OSHA regulations and that all work, from excavation through topping out, is performed in a safe manner. As a result, Precision Concrete's Experience Modification Rate (EMR) has been as low as 0.63. In short, Precision has worked hard to gain the reputation as the Southeast's premier concrete contractor and we realize that it will take twice the effort to maintain that position.
